The pre-order period of the first production runs of Qara Arming Sword and Qara Messer is now open! This run is limited to only six swords for each design.
The unique design of the Qara Arming Sword provides a balanced profile for optimal cutting & thrusting practices in historical sword arts. The design and functional properties of Qara Arming Sword were inspired by the late Medieval period Oakenshott Type XVI swords and Turkish kilij.
Qara Messer is a tribute to historical European short hunting swords and long knives. Its straight point and reinforced cutting edge is designed to optimize historical messer and dussack practices.
The pre-order period is between now and January 17, 2025. For the first production run, Qara Blades & Arts collaborates with Join or Die Knives.
Pre-orders are offered at a discounted rate and will be shipped in mid-April, 2025.
